Jarvis is a private, internal assistant application operated by Matt Bonanno (Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada) solely for managing his own companies' bookkeeping. It is not offered, sold or distributed to any other person or organization.
With the owner's authorization via Intuit OAuth 2.0, Jarvis reads accounting data (company info, accounts, transactions, reports) from QuickBooks Online companies owned by the operator.
Data is used only to prepare internal bookkeeping summaries, reconciliations and reports for the owner and his professional advisors (bookkeeper and accountant). No data is sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties, except that Jarvis uses Anthropic's Claude API (a commercial AI service) to read and summarize data on the owner's behalf; under Anthropic's commercial terms, API data is not used to train its models. No other processors receive the data.
OAuth tokens and any cached data are stored on a private server controlled by the operator, with access restricted to the operator, file permissions limited to a single service account, and all network traffic encrypted with TLS. No payment card data is collected.
Access can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the app in QuickBooks Online; on disconnection, stored tokens are deleted. Cached data is deleted on request.
